Beaumont High School may celebrate a pleasant Christmas present this year: a finally completed, state-of-the-art theater arts complex marveled at by Hollywood actors and worked on by technicians from Las Vegas.

This week, one of Vegas nightlife's own found his way into the international press. Cy Waits, the 34-year-old co-managing partner of Las Vegas's most successful nightclub, XS -- among other properties he oversees with his twin brother, Jesse -- was arrested on charges of driving under the influence.
