A BROMSGROVE electrical firm, which has been in the town for more than 30 years, officially opened its new premises last Friday (February 3) in the company of two MPs and 150 visitors.

MUMS and dads with babies who want to go out and watch a film no longer have to worry about organising childcare, thanks to a new venture from Bromsgrove’s Artrix.

BROMSGROVE’S All Saints Church is set to receive £18,000 in funding towards the work needed to repair the tower, roof and stonework. Three grants of £5,000 have been awarded to the scheme from the RD Turner Trust, the Worcestershire and Dudley Historic Churches Trust and the National Churches Trust.

MUSIC by Haydn, Dvorak and Messiaen will be on offer on Friday (February 10) as the Gould Piano Trio makes an appearance at Artrix in Bromsgrove. The 8pm concert features Lucy Gould on violin, Alice Neary on cello and Benjamin Frith playing the Artrix Steinway.

HITS from the charts and West End musicals will be on offer at the Palace Theatre on Wednesday (February 8)
